Wind Energy

Turbines are usually used to capture energy from wind flows and convert it into electricity.

Turbines are usually used to capture energy from wind flows and convert it into electricity. Differences in temperature in the atmosphere combined with the rotation of Earth and the geography of the planet are responsible for creating wind, making it another endless supply of clean energy. Utilizing wind means no carbon dioxide, or release of any harmful products that can cause environmental degradation. A small turbine of 5KW can generate enough electricity to power a typical American home, while utility scale wind farms can power commercial plants and even cities.
